YOUR PERSONALISED CHECK-IN
Here’s where to focus.
Add your key numbers to your meeting notes Optional
Use your latest reports, ideally to 30 September 2026. These notes do not calculate your tax.
This is a discussion guide based on your answers, not a financial assessment or confirmation that your tax is correct.
A SMALL CHANGE, IN REAL DOLLARS
What could faster
payment free up?
Explore the cash tied up while you wait for customers to pay. Try bringing your collection time down by a few days.
POTENTIAL ONE-OFF CASH RELEASE
$ —
Enter your figures to explore the difference.
Cash flow is about timing.
Earlier payment can release cash already owed to you. It does not create extra revenue or profit.
Illustration only: monthly credit sales ÷ 30 × days reduced. Assumes steady sales and full collection. Actual results depend on customer behaviour, seasonality and bad debts. GST included is not all available to spend.

Check Inland Revenue’s payment dates ↗Business vehicles?
Worth a conversation.
A Bill introduced on 10 September 2026 proposes changes to motor vehicle fringe benefit tax (FBT). If vehicles are available to employees or shareholder-employees for private use, ask how the proposals could affect you.
These are proposals, not current rules. We can review your vehicle use and discuss what to monitor as the Bill progresses.

A few useful answers.
What should I have ready for a review?
Bring your questions and any significant plans. Have your bank reconciliations up to date, plus recent reports, debtors and creditors lists, loan balances, and details of planned asset purchases or staffing changes. We can confirm what else is needed for your accounts.
Why can profit look good when cash is tight?
Profit and cash measure different things. Unpaid invoices, stock, loan principal repayments, asset purchases, drawings and tax payments can explain some of the gap. The next step is to reconcile what has actually moved through your business.
Can I reduce my provisional tax if profit is down?
A change in profit is a reason to review your position. Your appropriate payments depend on your tax method, full-year expectations and other circumstances. Talk with us before changing payments so we can consider the implications for you.
What if we’ve just had our annual accounts meeting?
A separate review may not be needed straight away. If something has changed since your meeting, send us a question and we can discuss whether another review would be useful.
NO QUESTION TOO SMALL
Start with what’s
on your mind.
You don’t need to book a full review to start a conversation. Tell us what you’re thinking about and we can agree the right next step.
